""Downright infectious - that's the best way to describe Boston's own Favorite Atomic Hero, who have been turning their fair share of heads lately with the success of their internet-only release. They may also be the first band who could have a shot at commercial stardom without having an album available in stores. Favorite Atomic Hero first caught the attention of the rock world with their quintessential power pop single hit "California". It reminds us what feel-good rock n roll is all about: guitar-driven anthems with contagious vocal hooks that just begs the ladies to sing along. But Favorite Atomic Hero is no one-hit wonder. The album plays host to a plethora of potential Billboard numbers including "The Risk of Being Cool", "New", "There", and the raucous title track, all of which showcase FAH's knack for stellar pop songwriting and make Timebomb the East Coast's answer to Everclear's Sparkle and Fade. The bottom line is this: this is a f**king solid album. If you like your rock catchy and uncluttered, Favorite Atomic Hero will deliver you to the Promised Land of Rock N Roll Satisfaction."
J. Bennett, The Weekly Dig

"Now this, simply put, is Boston Rock at its best, a classic to file right nextto Gigolo Aunts, The Cavedogs, Dambuilders, The Red Telephone, The Shelia Divine, The Pills, and The Shods. This four-piece has everything I love in a rock band: great hooks, heavy guitars, punchy drums, and top notch production. The album's lead-in track, "Timebomb," is a musical call-to-arms follwed by the upbeat "The Risk of Being Cool," recalling the brash pop of The Replacements. "California" has a great vocal hook, reminiscent of the first Foo Fighters record, followed by the Pixies-inflected "New." The next song, "In My Head" is a slow heavy ballad, reminiscent of "Taillights Fade" by Buffalo Tom. It's followed by the slightly subdued "Led By The Hand." The following track, "Bleed" sounds like what Green Day could sound like if they weren't so busy ripping off The Buzzcocks, with melodic hints of Red Rocker. Favorite Atomic Hero plays their stuff with hungry intensity and complete unabashed self confidence. And they know how to party, if their record release party is any indication. They had the building rocking in a way you'll never hear in a rock club. Favorite Atomic Hero is definitely on the runway to mega-success. Check 'em out while they're still humble."
Joel Simches, The Noise

"The best thing you can expect from a local compilation is that you'll be blown away by a band you'd never heard of before".
